+ How does the custom garment process work?

1. Book Appointment

2. First Meeting

The first meeting is about an hour. We will guide you in selecting a fabric, go through design details and customization, then take your measurements. Turn around time is usually 4-6 weeks however, this may vary with construction and fabric choice. Once your custom garment is made we will contact you to arrange a fitting.

3. Initial Fitting

During this fitting we will assess if any final adjustments need to be made. If there are any necessary alterations we will adjust your personal pattern and save your final measurements. This allows re-ordering to be seamless.

4. Delivery

Your final garment will be delivered to you and ready to wear.

+ How long does it take to make a suit?

That depends on whether the suit is Handmade Bespoke or Custom Tailored. A Bespoke suit typically takes about 9-10 weeks and depends on how quickly we see the client for each stage of fittings.

A Custom Tailored suit takes approximately 4-6 weeks.

+ How long does it take to make custom shirts?

Approximately 4-6 weeks.

+ What’s the difference between a Bespoke & Custom Tailored garment?

Both are custom made for each client, but created in different ways:

A Bespoke garment has its pattern drawn & cut, by hand, for each individual client. Each piece is designed & crafted entirely from scratch. It is then refined in different basted fitting stages directly on the clients body.

Our Custom Tailored suit has standardized construction and does not go through as many fitting stages. There is a first meeting and then an initial fitting where we determine if your final garment needs any minor alterations.

+ How much do your suits cost?

Our fully Handmade Bespoke suits start at $2,500. Our standard Custom Tailored suits start at $1,000. Fabric choice in conjunction with your design preferences determines cost. We suggest giving us a call or making an appointment to discuss options.

+ How many fabric selections do you offer?

We provide thousands of options from the world’s top mills. Seasonal fabrics are refreshed every six months.

+ Do you make vegan suits?

Yes, we offer vegan-friendly suiting options. Fabrics include linen, cotton and bamboo. Linings are cotton or polyester. Buttons are imitation horn or nut. The garment is unconstructed with synthetic melton, non-wool shoulder pads, and no horsehair canvasing.

+ Do you travel to clients for appointments?

Yes we do. We will travel to your home or office within the NYC Tri-State area. Traveling outside the Tri-State area we require a minimum order of $5,000.

+ Do you have a physical showroom I can get fitted at?

Yes, you can request a showroom fitting at our NYC location once you book an appointment.
